Coron, Palawan

Time really flies! It was just like yesterday when we made our covenant binded in holy matrimony. We wanted to make it special and private. So here we are celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary in Coron, Palawan.

Arrived an hour earlier than schedule at Busuanga Airport.
(let there be peace on earth)
Day 1: Once we reached the Hotel/Resort, we just took some photos and left our baggage and headed immediately to our first day Island Tour.
(inside our room)

 (boat ride to island hopping)
First stop, Lunch at Binulungan Island! I can't keep my eyes off the grilled fish!

(let me show you the fish!)

Second Stop, Swimming at Hidden Lagoon

(a mixture of hot and cold water)
Our third stop was really breath taking... as in it took our breath away! The way to Cayangan Lake was a minor hiking and halfway you'll witness the most captured view in any online photo of Coron...
(hingal mode)
(peak of the 75m walk to Cayangan Lake)

(Cayangan Lake)
Fourth stop, snorkeling at Twin Peaks!
 (twin peaks)
(fish feeding Eve)
Last stop, CYC Island! Our tour guide told us that this was one of the most sought Island long before it was spoiled by locals. Sand was acquired from this area during the establishment of their local pearl farm.
 (sunset view at CYC)
Day 2: Another day for Island hopping and this time it will take us an hour or two just to get to the location but before that, let's fill our stomach with buffet breakfast. Yummy!
 (kaon nata!)
(scenery atop the resort deck)
(me and my bebemon at Coron wharf)
First stop, Bulog Island. This was where the trending photo of Eve and I on FB was taken!
(read carefully)
Second stop, Banana Island. When we finally got here, a strong wind came blowing away our boat while all of us were trying to find shelter in the many cottages available.
(lunch time together with our friends from Marikina and South Korea)
 (Banana Island)
(this was shot after the rain)
Last stop, Malcapuya Island. We incidentally met Master Butan (from Dragon Ball Z)

(snorkeling on clear waters of Malcapuya)
After a day of sight seeing we decided to have dinner at Kawayanan Grill - a restaurant recommended by our hotel.
(Kawayanan Grill)
(mouthwatering meal)
An evening of quality time well spent with my one and only bebemon before going to slumber.
(porch outside our room)
Day 3: Our last day was spent roaming around the resort enjoying the amenities and all the accommodations.

(a panoramic view of Asia Grandview Hotel)

(waiting for our flight to Manila)
It was another great vacation! It really was more FUN in the Philippines! Surely we won't get tired enjoying nature's finest. Until next time...

Negros Occidental

The much awaited Grand Reunion of the Antonio clan. We were really having second thoughts attending the event but it was finally decided. Since this was the first ever reunion they will have, we must be present! Packed our bags and ready to go! San Carlos city here we go…

Evening of August 17, 2012. Arrived around 9:00pm at Silay Airport

First day: Early morning breakfast with my wifey. We were given privilege to stay on the newly constructed house owned by a relative and it was really nice here.

After our meal we then went to visit another Antonio relative, a tricycab away, to register our names for the three (3) day event.

We incidentally met siomai - a Shar Pei dog breed

Who wouldn’t be excited about our next stop? THE BEACH with ISLAND HOPPING! But before that, I was given 101 lessons about waterskiing!

First island stop... Tinangisan Island

2nd stop... Campu Labu Sandbar

Antonio International Clan

Almost sunset...

…then in the evening, the “meet and greet” fellowship of the Antonios held at TaƱon College - A school pioneered by the Antonio Clan

Second day: It was a Sunday so everyone will be attending a church service at UCCP. But before that we had breakfast at Aunty Babe’s place. I was thrilled when my wife told me about their pet dogs (since we left Packy, our Boxer breed dog, at Q.C.). We had siesta and then spent the whole afternoon roaming People’s Park.

Third day: Itinerary was to visit Sipaway Island and also to check-out La vista Resort’s Zipline. Sipaway Island was a boat ride away from San Carlos and once you’re there, you’ll have to ride a motorcycle “habal-habal” to bring you to any available resort. Our choice was Whispering Palms Island Resort.

We were amazed by the number of star fish here! To think that we will be able to compose words by literally using these creatures.

We went back to Aunty Babe’s house and had lunch. Then we went to La Vista Highlands Resort. This was also ate Joie's early birthday celebration!

Getting ready for the finale! We went first to the old house where my wife's grand parents reside and took photos together with Uncle Boy, Aunty Juarlita and Aunty Eve.

Packed with alot of performers, our grand evening was a smack!

...and here we were again at Bacolod-Silay airport ready for our flight back to Manila

Salamat sa mga Antonios! Negros Occidental Rocks!
