Bohol

After our beach wedding celebration, me and my wife decided to spend our honeymoon in Bohol for 3D2N.

Day 1: Arrived at Tagbilaran airport then headed straight to Flushing Meadows resort in Panglao.

Flushing Meadows Resort

We spent the rest of the afternoon 'til evening on the beach just playing around with the sand on our feet and star fish on our hands.

Here are some photos of the resort at night.

Day 2: City Tour! But first we had tapsilog for breakfast!

We paused on our way due to some work related issues. Eve took pictures of the bridge overlooking the beach on her side.

A house built looking like a ship

I really don't remember the number of steps but this is it!

Our tour guide told a folklore about these hills and believe it or not, there were two (2) stories! The first one was the famous battle between two giants and that without even knowing through battle, were able to form these wonders. But what really caught our attention was the story about lovers wherein a man and a woman were separated by their parents believing that their relationship was forbidden. For this reason the girl cried relentlessly out of hopelessness that she wont be able to see her beloved again. Her teardrops struck the ground and turned to these hills. Whoa! Fantastic!

I guess it's time for lunch!

While on our way back to the resort we decided to stop by on a farm just to take this picture.

We also visited a local zoo as you can see in these pictures below...

Who could forget the "pasalubong" for the special people in our lives? Not me!

Day 3: Island hop and departure.

We woke up early and ate breakfast before taking our boat ride to a nearby island.

After an hour of relaxation and basking the underwater sea wonders, we headed back to the resort...

Villa Escudero - Marriage Proposal

It's the end of the 40 days and Eve doesn't have any idea what surprise I have for her...

We rode a bus headed to Lucena...

... and along the way she was wondering to what place we're headed. I tried to keep it secret the bus conductor spoiled everything. Well, who could lie if you're asked "where are you headed?"

And here we are at Villa Escudero!!!

Meet mutya, our means of transport...

The Collection of Don Escudero was inside this building and no cameras were allowed. This wasn't the first time I visited this place and the one thing I won't forget among all the items was the "love letter" of Mr. Escudero to his wife. You should look for it my friends once you're here.

"Balsa" moments!

set meal for dinner...

... with some photo op!

Early the next day we took a walk along the coconut farm and that's where I sealed our relationship with a marriage proposal (hoping she would say YES!)

After we had lunch we took photos of some of Escudero's war toys...

The old Escudero mansion...

Time really flies and we should make decisions that we will never regret. And I made one! I decided to take Eve home with me for life!

But this picture litterally means we're now going home. Yahoo!

hmmm... wondering about her response when I asked the famous question "will you marry me?" Guess you just have to wait for the next episode...
