Camarines Norte

What could possible stop a man from thinking of ways to surprise his woman? hmmm... I dunno! But I had some in mind and I will just keep it.

So here was another day to remember...

First Day: I decided to show her where I grew up. My place of origin is in Sta. Elena, a town in Camarines Norte. It's a 7 hour land travel from Manila and just 2-3 hrs before you reach DAET. She wasn't aware that we were heading first to DAET because this was a surprise.

When we finally arrived in DAET, we took a tricycle to Bagasbas and you can already saw in her face curiosity. Wondering where we were really headed!

Along the way she saw that the other side of the road was a single span of cottages and after that layer was nothing but pre-dawn sky. Excitement! That's the look on her face for she might already had an idea what awaits beyond the cottages.

After we settled down and left our valuables in the hotel, we went for a walk over acupacoffee...

voilĂ ! 'Twas perfect timing!
My surprise for her... the Sun rising over the crystal sea. Magnificent indeed!

Bagasbas Beach is a well known Aquamarine Sport area in Camarines Norte

And not just that my friends... but another surprise was a symbol of God's mercy!

So we took the opportunity to revel in His creation while consuming his words.

Then we took a dip! Ahhh... relaxation!

Then "tapsilog" for breakfast on a small resto...

It's already time to leave for Sta. Elena so we took some photos before that.

checkmate!
Who would forget the "pasalubong" for my family and friends!? Not me!

When we finally got to Sta. Elena, I introduced her to my grandparents. Mama Love and Papa Love was really glad cause I found love again.

Off to our house to spend the night but before that -- DINNER!

Second Day: We woke up not so early for another surprise...

A visit to one of the waterfalls here -- Araneta Falls!

a picture of Eve under the falls (she really loved it)

clear green waters of the concreted pool which is also part of Araneta Falls

What could be more mouth watering than Pork and Squid BBQ for lunch in the heat of the day!

Told stories about the good ol' days spent here during my childhood and shown her the Municipal Park where kids usually spent their time playing

Then ended the day with one of my favorite things to do here -- Eat coconut fruit with crushed ice and evap milk within our small coconut farm in "Dahugon".

Eve told me that the place was so peaceful and relaxing and that she wanted to come and visit again. Me? I just told her "I hope your happy" and she responded with a smile.
